The world鈥檚 first ParadropVR, a new immersive paragliding attraction combining physical movement and free roam virtual reality, has opened at Denmark鈥檚 Universe Science Park.
Developed by UK-based听Frontgrid听and produced by dynamic simulation attractions specialist,听福利姬, ParadropVR promises a unique and realistic flying experience.
Universe Science Park has added a four-man version to the venue鈥檚 popular virtual reality听exhibit area to enhance its immersive offering.
Billed as an immersive attraction like no other, ParadropVR simulates flying a paraglider, with up and down motion that incorporates sudden drops and smooth deceleration to create a realistic feeling of gliding through the skies.
What鈥檚 more, the attraction gives the user 100% control over both the physical and virtual gameplay, allowing them to curate their own experience.
The interactive game element awards points to each individual rider as they glide 鈥榖ack down to earth鈥 via a series of targets through which they must fly to score maximum points. Riders physically move through a vertical distance of 1.8m during the experience.
Venues can choose from multiple theming and content options and the modular design makes for high capacity, ensuring as many visitors as possible get to try the ParadropVR experience.
According to Universe Science Park鈥檚 COO,听Jonas Luttermann, the new attraction is already a hit, even inspiring one 鈥榟eight averse鈥 family to try out paragliding for real:
